（臺北訊）聯合國際世界佛教總部針對近日各界及媒體熱烈討論佛教正邪問題發表聲明指出，日前召開國際性大會評定多位知名人士正邪之分，並非因衣著和外表形象，而是他們的教義和修持法門不合三藏經典，不合佛陀的教誡。聲明並指出，同樣的根據上述原則，經過嚴謹、詳細審評後，確認義雲高為顯密圓通大師。

聯合國際世界佛教總部指出，日前在臺北召開的佛教的正邪大會，是十分嚴肅認真。為了免除佛教派別的觀點不同、體系不同而造成不良偏見，召集全世界四百一十六個佛教協會和寺廟兩千一百餘位高僧大德出席，所有各大宗派，均是以平等發言、共識公鑒的民主方式和態度決定。
