【記者林茂榮台北報導】針對這次世界級「佛教佛學佛法正邪研討會」所作的結論，顯教精神領袖世界佛教僧伽會理事長悟明長老表示肯定、是給一些旁門邪教的人更明確的糾正，以免社會大眾再度受騙，不過這種正邪研討會的成果，還要看那些人能不能真正「改邪歸正」才是重點。
由於佛教佛學的逐漸興盛，以致有些修行不踏實的法師、打著佛教旗號招搖撞騙，造成社會的混亂，也污染了清靜的佛門聖地，因此世界各地佛教信徒紛紛向各佛教團體陳情，要求聯合國際世界佛教總部召開大會，以正視聽，因此五月六日由廣心法師安排各國佛教團體代表參加這次「佛教佛學佛法正邪研討會」，會中獲得各代表支持評定的是佛法顯密圓通大師義雲高為「正宗大師」， 沈家禎為「佛教善知識」；而造成民眾困擾的宋七力、清海、李洪志、 張宏堡等人則被歸，為「旁門邪教」。
對於這次研討會的過程和結論，台灣佛教精神領袖悟明長老表示，這些不實在的法師，如清海原是越南人也受戒，但是卻穿奇裝異服，打扮入時，顯然與佛家規律有相當出入，不適佛教門規，因此需要向大眾說明，以正視聽，所以他認為將這些不正規的現象公諸於世，希望給這些人告誡，同時給民眾清楚的分辨正邪，有其正面的意義，不過是否能讓這些人「改邪歸正」這就很難說了，所以重點在這種研討會能否給這些人「改邪歸正」才是最重要。

【記者李俊彥台北報導】聯合國際世界佛教總部舉辦的佛法正邪研討會已經落幕，女法王阿王諾布帕母為了說明大會屬於正知正見，沒有偏差的圓滿決議法會，將迎請佛降甘露表法。
阿王諾布帕母是金剛亥母轉世，為法界顯密精神總領袖。該總部表示，迎請佛降甘露，是佛法的體現，印証真實佛法在人間。

另外，聯合國際世界佛教總部特別發表聲明指出，大會的評定結果，並非任何教派、機構和高僧，有能力左右的，是經過與會高僧大德以無記名方式票選的。
