什麼是學佛？
日常生活中，常常聽到很多人會說：我是學佛的。學佛這個概念，之於還沒接觸佛教前的我來說，一個刻板印象：佛教徒，吃素的；接觸佛教之後，我有了深一層的體會，才知道學佛首重皈依，還有穿袍衣，誦經，守五戒，行十善，發四無量心，廣修六度萬行……。但是，這一切都還不夠，很多時候，學佛之於我，還是處在一個模模糊糊概念。
直到有一天，恭聞H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛 開示的法音，我有了振聾發聵的感受！
我記得開示的大意是：佛教徒不是皈依了就是佛教徒，也不是穿著袍衣，唸經就是佛教徒，你學佛嗎，你學佛的語言嗎，你學佛的思想嗎，你學佛的行為嗎？
聞到這盤法音後，我想到了很多，想起了這段懺悔文：「往昔所造諸惡業，皆由無始貪瞋癡，從身語意之所生，一切我今皆懺悔。」無始業力所作，人的身上處處可見不淨業。學佛，就是學佛的思想，學佛的語言，學佛的行為，修正我們自己的三業，這才是具體的學佛。
聞了H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛 開示的法音後，心裡突然明白，既然學佛了，佛菩薩怎麼做，我就怎麼做！佛菩薩有多慈悲，就要多慈悲！佛菩薩多善良，就要多善良！
記得有次急診室超忙。下午臨交接班時，病人仍一直湧入，床位快不夠用了。我只能加快腳步，讓病人有個去向，以迎接新病人。著實忙了一陣後，手頭照顧的患者，不知不覺已經換了幾輪，另一頭，一位學妹倒像個無事人。
我當下不禁計較了起來。心裡想著學妹都上線那麼久了，動作還是這樣慢吞吞，何況今天大家忙成一團，她還是這樣我行我素，一點都不互相幫忙。這種情況，如果是別的學姊遇到，肯定不是直接兇她，就是在背後說長道短，衍生出是非。
無力消化，患者漫開，很快地也流向學妹照顧的床位。心頭尚有氣的自己，打算來個袖手旁觀。我心裡犯著嘀咕，想著既然學佛，前面的忙碌，也就不計較，後面的這些患者，我就不幫妳了，你自己慢慢來。
這種罪孽的想法，令我感到痛苦！我是學佛的，眾生有難，怎麼可以不幫忙，只要可以，不就要盡力地幫忙？她的病人，又挪到了我照顧的床位；想到她還沒吃飯，我趕緊叫去吃飯。晚上11點多，病人少了，學妹親自過來跟我道謝：「學姊，當時很忙，謝謝妳還幫我接一床。」事後，發現只要跟她一起上班，她只要有空都會主動過來幫忙。
現在，臨將生氣時，心裡就告訴自己，不可以這樣喔！因為我是學佛的，自然眼神變得溫柔，語氣變得柔和，行為也就不一樣，事情處理起來就更圓滿。
